Victor Albert Willis, 70, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Brookdale Senior Living on Robinwood Road.
He was born in Gaston County, on September 13, 1953, to the late Earl and Mary Willis.
Victor was the past Master of King Solomon Lodge #704 AF&AM in 1980. He was also the secretary for 18 years. He is a current member of Cherryville Lodge #505 AF&AM. He was a certified lecturer in the Masonic Lodge for 40 years. He was also a member of the Valley of Charlotte Scottish Rite, where he received his 33rd degree. He was a member of the Charlotte York Rite (Chapter #39 RAM, Counsil #8 R&SM, Commandery #2 KT). He has conducted close to 400 Masonic funerals for his brethren. He was a member of DeMolay, as well as an Eagle Scout.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Karen Willis, and his brother, Daniel Willis and his wife, Karen P.
A Graveside service will be held Monday, January 8, 2024, 11:00 am, with speaker Rebecca Greene, at Gaston Memorial Park. D. Mack Sigmon, past Grand Master of Masons of North Carolina, will Conduct Masonic Rites.
The family will receive friends Sunday, January 7, 2024, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
