Frances Marie Cato

Frances Marie Cato, 82, of Gastonia, passed away April 13, 2020 at Alexandria Place, Gastonia, NC.

A native of Gaston County, NC, she was born August 14, 1937 to the late David and Mary Faye Chastain Hall.

In addition to her parents, Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Douglas Cato and two brothers, David Hall, Jr., and Don Hall.

She is survived by two sons, Steve Cato and wife, Diana, Tony Cato and wife Martha; a sister, Brenda Lovette and husband Leo; three grandchildren, Chris Cato, Christy Cato, and Ty Cato; and two great-grandchildren, Christopher Null and Kailey Null.

Rev. Dean Harris will officiate at a private graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association – Western Carolina Chapter, 4600 Park Road, Suite 250, Charlotte, NC 28215.
