Curtis Houston Polk, 88, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Jay, Florida, on January 23, 1937, to the late Huston and Elizabeth Polk.
Curtis was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a lifetime member of VFW - Post 9337 - Gastonia, NC. He was an original member of the Brothers Motorcycle Club. Above all else, Curtis loved his family.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sons, Leon Polk and JoJo Polk; sister, Annis Gay; two brothers, Earl Polk and Tootie Polk.
Curtis is survived by his sons, James Polk, Tony Polk, Michael Polk; daughters, Gina King (Ted), Kay Ruiz (Tony), Sandra Polk, Jodie Polk (Charles Dockery); brother, Raymond Polk (Lisa); sister, Mildred Fletcher (Jerry); 24 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held, Wednesday, January 29, 2025, from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC.
A graveside service will be held, Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 3:00 pm at Woodside Cemetery, Clover, SC.
