Carolyn Dixon Carroll

Carolyn Dixon Carroll, 71, of Bessemer City, passed away on May 1, 2021, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

She was born July 2, 1949, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Otis Ray Dixon and Hallie May Dixon.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Monday, May 10, 2021, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Robert Baker.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, George Carroll;  her sons, John Carroll and Mark Carroll;  her daughter Angela "Angie" Parsley; her brother, Bobby Dixon; eleven grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her son, George Carroll; sisters, Mary Lou Dixon Longfellow and Helen Dixon Childers.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
