Zola Eades

On January 19, 2018, Zola Mae Brown Osborne Eades, 99, of Gaffney, passed over into an eternal life, free from pain and sorrow.

She was born November 23, 1918, daughter of the late Crommadore and Mandy Elzona Ellis Brown.

Zola was a native of Wilkes County, NC.

She was preceded in death by her 3 spouses, Conce Osborne, Charles Rhyne, and Robert Eades; sons, Richard Dale Osborne, Howard Osborne; sisters, Lula Osborne, Isadore Brown; and brothers, Leonard, Pressley, and Odell Brown.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Edna Mogle, Jim (Janet) Osborne, Rosa Eades, Carol Berry, Clifton (Peggy) Osborne, Bonnie Peters, Jerry (Diane) Osborne, Sharon (Richard) Lail, Sue (John) Blalock, Amanda(Stanley) Dixon, and Junior Osborne; brothers, Jay and Ray Brown; 32 grandchildren; 75 great grandchildren; and 25 great, great grandchildren.

A celebration of life service, officiated by Pastor Karl Moyers, will be held 7:00 pm on Sunday, January 21, 2018, at the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

A graveside service will be held noon on Monday, January 22, 2018, at Royal Cemetery, 4824 Sheets Gap Rd., Millers Creek, NC.
