Zackary Douglas Grant

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Zackary Douglas Grant's passing on April 15, 2026. Born on October 5, 2001, in Shelby, North Carolina, Zack grew up in Grover, NC. Zackary loved his mother dearly and was known for his lively spirit. He also enjoyed working on cars and racing.

Zack was the beloved son of Tabetha Millwood and Carmen Grant. He is also survived by his cherished aunt, Penny McDaniel; sisters Allison Grant of Kings Mountain, NC and Stephanie Grant from Grover, NC; grandparents Linda and Jimmy Nelson; Glenda and Jonny Terry, and Kimberly Grant all of Grover, NC; and 6 nieces and 2 nephews who he loved dearly. His family and friends were important to him, and he enjoyed spending time with them. His family will always remember him for his generous heart and his ability to light up a room with his compelling smile.

Zackary is preceded in death by his grandfather, Dale Grant and his Uncle Preston Grant.

In honor of Zack's life, a memorial service will be held where family and friends can come together to celebrate the joy he brought to our lives. The details for the service will be announced shortly.

Zack, you will be deeply missed, but your spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
