Woodrow Kimsey

Woodrow Eugene "Gene" Kimsey, 61, of Gastonia, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021, at Courtland Terrace, Gastonia.

He was born on June 1, 1959, in Gaston County, to the late Woodrow and Jean Gurney Kimsey.

Gene loved the Carolina Panthers and watching NASCAR.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Kimsey; and daughter, Katie Thomas.

Left to cherish Gene's memories are his step-mother, Carol Kimsey; sons, Eric, Coley, and Zachary Kimsey; daughter, Sierra Kimsey; brothers, Tim Kimsey and John Koedatich; sisters, Cynthia Kinsler, Lori Kimsey, Ginger Hayman, Beth Kimsey, and Pam Kendall; and twelve grandchildren.

All services for Mr. Kimsey are private.
