Windy Williamson Short

Windy Williamson Short, 62, of Belmont, NC, passed away at her home on Monday, December 19, 2022.

She was born July 2, 1960, in Danville, VA, to the late John Lloyd Williamson, Sr. and Martha Ann Toler Williamson Killian.

Windy worked as a Product Development Specialist at Textile Technology Center with Gaston College.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daddy, Leon Killian; and sisters, Faye Morrow, and Robin Cleveland.

Windy is survived by her son, Eric Short; daughter, Mindy Short and husband Teddy; brothers, Ronnie Williamson and wife Susan, John "Buggy" Williamson, Jr., and Daryl Killian; sister, Angela Killian; grandchildren, Alyssa Johnson and fiancé Dillion Adams, Caiden Johnson, and Julian Madden; and great-granddaughter, Novaleigh Adams.

A service to celebrate the life of Windy, will be held 1pm, Monday, December 26, 2022, at Ranlo Church of God - 1825 Spencer Mountain Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054.
