Wilma Jean Summey Bumgardner

Wilma Jean Summey Bumgardner, 78, of Gastonia passed away March 24, 2013 at Gaston Memorial Hospital, Gastonia. She was born August 3, 1934 in Gaston County, daughter of the late Charles Brady and Mary Lee Paysour Summey. A funeral service will be held 2pm Tuesday March 26, 2013 at Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church, Dallas, officiated by Pastor Jim Shaw. The family will receive friends from one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the church cemetery. Mrs. Bumgardner was a member of Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church of Dallas. She is survived by: her children, Renee and Bo Mackey, Keith and Monica Bumgardner of Gastonia; grandchildren, Lori Myers of Lincolnton, Britt and Missy Myers of Lake Wylie, SC, Heather Bumgardner of Gastonia, Keith Bumgardner Jr. of Greenville, NC, Daniel Mackey of Lincolnton, Jesse Burrell of Virginia Beach, VA; great grandchildren, Tyler Watts of Lincolnton, Britt and Carson Myers of Lake Wylie, SC, Case Youngblood of Gastonia. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Max "Sonny" Bumgardner; brothers, CB, Leroy and Raymond Summey; sister, Helen Summey.
