Wilma Jones, 96, of Gastonia, passed away August 10, 2022, at her home.

She was born May 9, 1926, in Gaston County, NC to the late Charles Quincy Bell, Sr. and Dolly Elizabeth Bell.

In addition to her parents, Wilma was also preceded in death by her husband, Maynard T. Jones, and brother, Charles R. Bell, Sr.

Wilma is survived by her nephews, Cecil Bell and wife Patty, and Larry Bell, and nieces Pat Brown and Barbara Young.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 12, 2022, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052 between 6:00 – 8:00 pm.

A service to celebrate the life of Wilma will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 11:30 AM, officiated by Pastor Harry Davis.

Interment will follow the service at Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia, NC.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium.
