Wilma Hoyle

Wilma "Ruth" Hoyle, 83, of Bessemer City, passed away Friday, September 18, 2020 at her residence.

A Gaston County native, she was born March 8, 1937, daughter of the late Frank and Mabel Hager Reynolds.

She was a member of Bright Light Baptist Church in Bessemer City and was a bus driver for Gaston County Schools for over 20 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William A. (Butch) Hoyle, and son, Rickey Dean Hoyle.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Cindy Hoyle Greene; son, Timothy Maddox; and granddaughter, Stacey Partain.

A graveside service will be held 12 Noon on Monday, September21, at Westview Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, P.O. Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054.

Entombment will be in Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
