Willowdean Moss Greene

Willowdean Moss Greene, 89, of Lowell, passed away February 17, 2015 at Alexandria Place in Gastonia. She was born February 22, 1925 a native of Gaston County, daughter of the late Docie and Clarence Everette Moss, Sr. Willowdean was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She devoted her life to her family. She was a member of West Cramerton Baptist Church. She worked alongside her husband at Bob Greene TV Service which was their TV repair shop and enjoyed flower gardening, sewing and calling Bingo. She is survived by her son, Gary Greene and wife, Sharon of Lowell; brother, Jake Moss and wife, Margaret; sister, Lois Forner and special friend, Bob Threatt; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Greene and brothers, Charles, Bill and Johnny Moss. A celebration of life service will be held 1 pm Friday at West Cramerton Baptist Church - 5006 Wilkinson Blvd., Gastonia, NC, officiated by the Rev. Mike Ivey. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Cramerton Baptist Church - 5006 Wilkinson Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28056 or Alzheimer's Association - Western Carolina Chapter, 3800 Shamrock Drive., Charlotte, NC 28215-3220. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
