Willie (Billy) Howard Sapp

Willie (Billy) Howard Sapp, 88, passed away October 24, 2022, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia, NC surrounded by his family.

He was born October 12, 1934, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Leonard Sapp and Addie Lee Mullis Sapp.

Willie loved his family, he retired from Burlington Industries as a long-distance truck driver with 30 years of service.  He proudly served in the United States Army with Spear Head 3 ^rd Division Tank Company.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Mae Mathis Sapp, daughter, Amy Joanna Dye; brother, Audrey Sapp; and two sisters, Geraldine Williams and Carolyn Balilies.

Willie is survived by a son, Billy Sapp; and five grandchildren, Shation Sapp, Nathan Sapp, April Sapp, Jonathan Dye, and Brandon Sapp.

Graveside Service will be private.
