William "Bubba" Wilson III, 36, of Bessemer City, NC, passed away Friday, August 7, 2026 at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte.
He was born October 30, 1989, in Gaston County, to Peggy Wilson and the late William Wilson Jr.
Bubba was a veteran of the United States Navy. He enjoyed fishing, car races, hunting and BBQing. He loved his family.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, James Wilson; sister, April Laney (Kala); nephews, Paul Nealy and Aiden Redmon; girlfriend, Ashley Hewitt.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC.
