William Andrew Starr

W. Andrew Starr, 73, of Gastonia, passed away July 11, 2014 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Gaston County, born July 3, 1941, son of the late Burl T. Starr and Mary Epperson. William was a Vietnam Veteran of the US Army. He is survived by his sister, Susan Cowan and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Melvin T. Starr and sister, Letitia E. Hamrick. A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Gaston Memorial Park, officiated by the Rev. Bobby Morrow.
