William Glenn Singleton

William "Glenn" Singleton 1926 - 2014 William "Glenn" Singleton, 87, of Gastonia, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014 at Willow Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rutherfordton, NC. A native of Oconee County, SC, he was born November 19, 1926, son of the late Martin and Jessie McDonald Singleton. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Gastonia. In addition to his parents, Mr. Singleton was preceded in death by his stepson, Bobby Black. He is survived by his wife, Doris Peeler Singleton; niece, Judy Burger; and grandchildren, Crystal Horne, and Bobby Glenn Black. A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Rex Atkins, will be held 2 pm Monday, June 23 at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 South York Rd, Gastonia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park.
