William "Flash" R. Gordon

William "Flash" R. Gordon, 76, of Gastonia, NC passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Robin Johnson House in Dallas.

He was born December 1, 1945, in York County, SC to the late Earl Heath and Macie Lee Wooten Gordon.

Mr. Gordon was an auto detailer. He attended Victory Baptist Church in Gastonia. He was an US Army Veteran. He loved to eat at Ball's Grill and never met a stranger.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Ronnie, Donnie, and Richard Gordon, four sisters, Clara Lee Blalock, Earlyne Martin, Joyce Ann Rush, Elizabeth Howe.

He is survived by his sister, Catherine Faulkner

A Memorial Service officiated by Pastor Keith Martin will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Victory Baptist Church, 1101 Lynnhaven Drive, Gastonia, NC 28052.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

The South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service is serving the Gordon family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Robin Johnson House or St. Judes.
