William Edward Propst, 75, of Dallas, passed away February 27, 2018 at his residence.
He was born February 1, 1943, a native of Gaston County, the son of the late David Henry Propst and Irene Elizabeth Burton Propst.
William is survived by his son Robert Propst and wife Jeannie; daughter Michelle Propst; girlfriend Irene Frazier; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters and 6 brothers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Betty Sue Propst; sons William Eugene, Jeffery Lewis; 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Alan Wheeler will be held 2 pm Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
Visitation will be 6 – 8 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Hardin Community Baptist Church Cemetery.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
