William "Billy" Marshall Melton

William "Billy" Marshall Melton, 67, of Kings Mountain, passed away January 14, 2024, at his home.

He was born January 26, 1956, in Cleveland County, son of the late Ray Melton and Christine Wood Melton.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Harvest Time Assembly 904 Second Street, Kings Mountain, officiated by Pastor Norman Green and Pastor Sheila Grigg.

The family will receive friends 1-2 pm prior to the service at the church.

Billy is survived by sons, Bryan Melton (Lisa), Terry Marlow; daughter, Charity Tscheiller; brother, Cleveland Melton (Sondra); grandchildren, Tristian Tscheiller, Isaac Tscheiller, Tabitha Hulsey, Bret Hayes; four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his brothers, Roland Melton and Leonard Melton.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service located at 216 Archie Whitesides Gastonia.
