William Ray Hudson

Denver, NC William "Ray" Hudson, 66, passed away Friday, November 9, 2012 at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. He was born July 18, 1946 in York County, SC, son of the late John William Hudson and the late Willie Mae Pugh Miller. Ray was a US Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and was formerly employed by Spectrum of Belmont and Stowe Spinning. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hudson was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Ann Goodman He is survived by his loving wife of over 43 years, Dianne Hudson, of the home; son, Sidney Ray Hudson and wife Chrystal; daughters, Brenda Kay Hudson and husband Andy, Wanda Ann Abbott; two brothers; four sisters; 11 grandchildren; six great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm Tuesday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. Funeral services will be private.
