William Patrick Hensley

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Patrick Hensley, lovingly known as Pat, who left us on July 27, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on January 17, 1961, in North Carolina, Pat spent his life making the world a better place, especially for those he loved. He served in the US Airforce and was a Christian man.

Pat was known for his big heart. He found immense joy in playing music, especially strumming his guitar, which was a true reflection of his passion for sharing happiness with others. For Pat, music was more than a pastime; it was a way to connect with friends and family.

He was deeply devoted to caring for his disabled sister, Phyllis Hensley, and he approached this responsibility with unwavering love and dedication. Pat also had a special bond with his two dogs, Sasha and Lizzie, who brought him endless joy and comfort throughout his life.

In addition to his sister, Pat will be dearly missed by his fiance, Shelley Green; niece, Anna Martin; friends, and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A private celebration of life will be held at the home by family and friends.

In honor of Pat's memory, let's remember to share music, kindness, and love just as he did every day. Rest easy, Pat. You will never be forgotten.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, George and Myrtle Hensley; and sister, Brenda Martin.
