William Mark Gibby

William "Mark" Gibby, 46, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013. He was born May 9, 1967 in Gaston County, son of the late Billy and Nancy Long Gibby. In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his special friend, Allie Bentley. He is survived by his wife, Brandy Gibby; sons, Justin Rimmer, Billy Gibby, and Jordan Best; daughter, Megan Gibby; father-in-law, Tommy Rimmer; sisters, Nancy White and husband Charles, Becky Stuart and husband Chuck, Scotty Wright and husband Jack; grandchild, Lux Rimmer; special loved ones, Audry Funky and Lenzi Medlin. Mr. Gibby was a former officer with the Gastonia Police Department, a member of Restoring Hope Foursquare Gospel Church, and a member of Lowell Masonic Lodge #590. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, at the main campus of Bethlehem Church. The service will be officiated by Rev. Virgil Sutton and Rev. Dale Lawing. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
