William Terry Cline

William Terry Cline, 71, passed away March 22, 2014, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. He was born September 4, 1942, in Maiden, NC, son of the late Clifford D. and Elsie Campbell Cline. A service of remembrance will be held 4 p.m. Wednesday at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel, 1503 South York Rd. Gastonia, NC, 28052, officiated by the Rev. Roger Overton. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:45 p.m. Wednesday at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel. Interment will be private. Terry enjoyed outdoor activities like golfing and farming. He retired from AMP Inc. after 25 years of service, and was presently employed with J.J. Digh Machine Company in Dallas. He attended Chapel Grove Baptist Church. Terry is survived by loving and dedicated wife of 52 years, Ann Cline; daughters, Amy Cline of Asheville, and Stephanie Cline Gray and husband Mitchell of Cherryville; grandson Jordan Gray; sisters, Pat Rash of Maiden, Sandra Watts of Hickory, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Memorials may be made to Samaritans Purse, P.O. Box 3000 Boone, NC, 28607. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
