William Paul Campbell

Gastonia, NC William Paul Campbell, 69, passed away February 17, 2013, at his residence. He was born February 10, 1944 in Cumberland County, TN, son of the late Hack Suttle and Lola Mae Campbell Anderson. The roads are safe now, unless granddaughters, Crystal, Payton, Madison and Emma Walker take up Mr. Campbell's spontanious driving skills. He was a man of jokes, gifts and loved his daughter, Tammy Armstrong. RIP A celebration of life will be held 2 pm on Friday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Revs. Jeff Walker and Perry Shaw. The family will receive friends 1-2 pm on Friday prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Gastonia. He is survived by: his daughter, Tammy Armstrong and her husband, Junior; sisters, Sue and Bill Garren, Helen Anderson, Judy Anderson; step-sisters and their spouses, Sarah and Mike O'Conner, Mary Ann and Clyde Steptoe, Charlene and Fred Goble; grandchildren, Crystal Walker and her husband, Jeff; great grandchildren, Payton, Madison, Emma and Paisley Walker; special cousin, Leeroy Campbell; special aunt, Eva Campbell; special friend, Cassie Goodale. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: step-father, Lloyd Anderson; sister, Ruth Anderson. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
