William Kime Broome Sr.

William Kime Broome Sr., 62, of Gastonia, passed away October 4, 2021, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

He was born March 1, 1959, in El Paso Texas, son of Barbara Steele Warlick and the late William "Bill" Broome.

William was a member of Chapel Grove Baptist Church in Gastonia.

He was an employee of Diversified Specialties in Belmont.

He loved to watch movies, but his most precious time was spent with his family.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Scott Davis.

The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Saturday, October 9, 2021, at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Dallas.

In addition to his mother, Barbara Warlick,( Howard), William is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Teresa Broome; son, Will Broome Jr. of the home; daughter, Amanda "Mandy" Broome of the home; brother, Tommy Broome of Bessemer City; sister, Nicole Whitaker (Joey) of Bessemer City; several nieces and nephews, Justin Haskin (Miranda), Jonathan Haskin, Cody Whitaker, Brianna Falls; fur baby, Bonnie.
