William Ronald "Bill" Crawley

William Ronald "Bill" Crawley, 69, of Gastonia passed away September 10, 2013 at his home. He was born March 9, 1944 in Gaston County son of the late James William Crawley and Zennia Louise Jimison Crawley. Mr. Crawley was a veteran of the US Air Force. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Rollo Leimer. The family will receive friends 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City, with military honors. Mr. Crawley is survived by: his wife, Melody Clamp Crawley; numerous children and grandchildren; sisters, Diane Crane and husband Ray, Betty Helms, Lori Carswell and husband Daryll, all of Gastonia, Merle Dean and husband Tommy of Bessemer City; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be sent to Gaston Hospice, P.O. box 3984 Gastonia, NC 28054. Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
