William Cornelius "Bebop" Heffner Jr.

Clover, SC William Cornelius "Bebop" Heffner Jr., age 67, passed away November 12, 2013 at his home. He was born October 23, 1946 in York County, SC, son of the late William Heffner Sr. and Jessie York Heffner. A funeral service will be held 2 pm on Saturday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Ted Oldaker and Rev. Jack Hord. The family will receive friends 1 to 2 pm on Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home. The interment will follow the service on Saturday at Lakeview Memory Gardens, York, SC. He is survived by: his wife, Cathy Hord Heffner of the home; sons and daughters in-law, Bill and Traci Heffner of Bessemer City, Michael and Kerri Faile of Clover, SC; daughters and sons in-law, Laura and John Stearns of Shelby, Danielle Faile and Shane Boyte of Clover, Christal and Chris Pack of Clover; sisters and brothers in-law, Shirley and Stan Adams of Nebo, "Tiny" Rose and Bill Bush of Clover, Faye and Wallace Williams, Kaye and Doug Eaves all of Sharon, SC; fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren; a lot of extended family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: grandson, Bryson Pack; sister, Lorraine Cripps; brothers, Larry and John Heffner.
