Willard "Mack" Phillips

Willard "Mack" Phillips, 70, of Gastonia, passed away on October 9, 2017, at Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax, VA.
He was born July 19, 1947, in Gaston County, son of the late John Denzel Phillips and Stella Ledford Phillips.
"Mack" was a US Army veteran.
A gathering of family and friends will be held 5-7 pm Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia.
"Mack" is survived by daughter, Tracey Phillips Smith and husband Curtis; son, John Douglas Phillips; brothers, Bobby, Jack, and Ronnie Phillips; sisters, Joyce Phillips, Jearleen Reeves, Rickie Huggins; grandchildren, Michael Roper, Megan Phillips, Dakota Wallace.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother, Larry Phillips; brother-in-law, Gary Huggins; nieces, Lynn Phillips, Robbie Phillips; nephew, Gregg Phillips.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the Wounded Warriors Project P.O. Box 758517 Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
