Willa Belle Campbell

Willa Belle Campbell, 90 of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on August 11, 2026, at home surrounded by her loving family. Willa was born on October 15, 1935, in Robbinsville, NC, to the late Edward and Gussie Colvin. She relocated to Bessemer City, NC, at the age of 16. Willa Attended Lowell First Baptist Church, where she was saved at the age of 19 years old.

Willa is survived by her daughters, Karen Whitaker (Frank), Delene Lyon (Randy) and Georgia Speights; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George R. Campbell; her sons, Gary Campbell, Robert Campbell and Ronnie Campbell; and her daughter, Patsy Abee.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Renee Campbell and Randy Barrett for their care, support and compassion during Willa's illness. Your dedication and kindness will always be remembered.

The family will receive friends 10-11 am Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. The burial will be at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery
