Wayne "Boone" Simpson

Wayne "Boone" Simpson, 57, of Dallas, NC, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Carolinas Regional Medical Center, Charlotte, NC.

He was born October 19, 1966, in Garrard Co, KY, son of Sissy Adams and the late Tony Henden Simpson.

Boone was a member of the Dixie Drafters. He loved to ride his motorcycle, fishing, and most importantly his family.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 27 years, Leslie Simpson; sons, Tony Lay, Josh Lay, Travis Andros, Jonathan Simpson (Brooke), and Cody Ratliff (Alyssa); daughter, Brittany White; brothers, Chad Simpson, David Simpson, Roger Simpson, and Shaw Carman; sister, Jennifer Sanders; and grandchildren, Kelbie Lay, Savanna Simpson, Willow Simpson, and Brantlee Ratliff.
