Wayne H. Lancaster

Wayne H. Lancaster, 73, of Gastonia, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at The Robin Johnson House in Dallas. He was born April 23, 1941 in Cabarrus County, son of the late, Pauline and William A. Lancaster, Sr. Wayne was a printer for Interstate Graphics in Charlotte. He is survived by his sons, Jimmy Lancaster of SC, Jimmy Haynie, Jerry Haynie and wife, Sube all of Gaston County; daughter, Lisa Kimbrell of SC; sisters, Lynn Barlowe and husband, Jeff of Gastonia, Paula Neal of Dallas; numerous grandchildren and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, William Lancaster, Jr. A graveside service will be held 1 pm on Monday at Gaston Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice (The Robin Johnson House) - PO Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054 Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
