Wayne Crawley

Wayne Crawley, 69, of Gastonia, passed away November 14, 2015 at Gastonia Care and Rehabilitation. He was born October 21, 1946, a native of Gaston County, the son of the late Arnold M.D. Crawley and Pearl Jimison Crawley. Wayne was a former salesman of Midway Motors and multiple car dealerships. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed going to baseball games. Left to cherish his memories are his son, Matthew Crawley; sisters Pat Hample and Shirley Walker and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to say a special thank you to his caregiver and friend, Lynn Hampton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Arnold Crawley. A graveside service will be held 12 noon Tuesday at Gaston Memorial Park, officiated by Rev. Danny Hoell. Visitation will be held 10:30 - 11:30 am at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
