Wayne Tyson Alexander

Wayne Tyson Alexander, 59, of Charlotte, passed away January 20, 2020 at his residence.
He was born on November 6, 1960 in Mecklenburg County, the son of the late De Albert Alexander and Pearl Tyson Alexander.
Wayne loved the outdoors, golfing and snow skiing. He liked ice hockey and watching the Hurricanes, he also enjoyed the Miami Dolphins.
He is survived by fiancée Elaine Bridges; children with love, Ashleigh Lanier (Paul), and Tyler Bridges; and grandchildren, Emma and Logan Lanier.
A memorials service will be held 3 pm Friday at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Dickie Spargo.
The family will receive friends 2 – 3 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
