Wanida Kakassy

Wanida Kakassy, 81, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

She was a native of Thailand and was born on April 1, 1943, to the late Jumius and Tean Chamram.

Wanida work as a seamstress for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Kakassy.

Wanida is survived by her son, Rome Somrumram and wife Judith; grandchildren, Dante Torres and wife Rosa, Oscar Torres; great-grandchildren, Heidi Torres and Daniel Torres.
