Wanda Gail Walker Hanley

Wanda Gail Walker Hanley, 77, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024, at her residence.

She was born November 18, 1946, in Union Co, NC, daughter of the late Bunyan Price Sr., and Virginia Carter Price.

Wanda was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Bill Walker, Sr., and Ed Hanley; son, Bill Walker, Jr.; daughter, Mary Lynn Walker; brother, Bunyan Price, Jr.; and sisters, Arvonia Price England, and Brenda Joyce Harris.

Wanda is survived by her daughters, Pamela Dawn Wetter and husband James, and Tina Jo Smith and husband Edward; brother, Dennis Price; grandchildren, Joseph Wells, Jesse Wells (Tabetha), Allen Smith (Meghan), Brittney Smith, Samatha Manson (Russell), Caleb Smith (Erica), Beth Perez (Juan), and Ryan Wetter; great-grandchildren, Bayle Wells, Bella Wells, Zoe Wells, Madilyn Wells, Lilly Penelope Wells, Bubba Wells, Sawyer Wells, Max Smith, Declon Smith, Maddie Smith, Ilianna Manson, Elaina Manson, Richard Manson, Walker Smith, Emma Jo Smith, Juanito Perez, Devin Perez, James Perez, Ava Wetter, and Sage Wetter; 37 adopted children; and special friend, Georgeanne Champion.

A funeral service officiated by Bob Wells, will be held 12pm, Thursday, April 25, 2024, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be held 1pm, Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Lakeview Memory Gardens - 1774 Filbert Hwy, York, SC 29745.
