Wanda Redding

Wanda Jean Lowe Redding, 74, of Gastonia, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at her residence.

She was born on December 1,1946, in Jackson County, NC, to the late James Clint Lowe, Sr. and Beuna Beatrice Ballew Uren.

Wanda worked for many years as a nurse's aide and had a heart for caring for the elderly. She made many friends over her years spent working at Brookdale Assisted Living before her retirement.  Wanda loved to spend any time she could reading God's Word.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by several brothers.

Left to cherish Wanda's memories are her husband, Robert Redding; daughter, Paula "Candy" Gentry; brother, James Lowe (Linda); and sister, Janice Hooker (Jerry).

All services for Mrs. Redding are private.

Wanda will be interred at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia, NC.
