Wanda Patterson

Wanda Lavonne Patterson, 59, of Gastonia, passed away September 29, 2022, at her residence.

She was born August 4, 1963, in Brooklyn, New York, daughter of Avie Patterson and the late Jacob Clavon.

Wanda loved her family very much and loved to dance.

Her favorite thing to say was the sound of a cat.

Left to cherish her memories, in addition to her mother, are her fiancé, Larry Davis; sons and daughter-in-law, Chris Patterson, Branden Patterson Sr. and Harmony Barton, Andre Patterson, and Denzel Washington; brothers, Dale Patterson and Darrin Patterson; grandchildren, Imani Patterson and Branden Patterson Jr.

A memorial service will be held 12:30 pm on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Living Water Community Worship Center, 408 N. Firestone St., Gastonia.

The service will be officiated by Pastor Andrea L. Gooding

Repass will follow the service at the church.
