Vivian Elizabeth Chandler, 68, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Gaston County on January 2, 1956, to the late Miles and Alma Davis.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Chandler Jr.; siblings, Clint Davis, Buddy Davis, Teresa Childers; aunt, Deedie Woody; special friend, Red Goins.

Vivian is survived by her brother, Miles R. Davis; nieces, Ann Spencer, Elizabeth Postell, Bridget Postell; numerous great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service officiated by Reverend Sam Barnette, will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024, 2:00 PM, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia, NC 28052.

The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

The burial will follow the service at Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
