Virginia Bell Lossiah

Virginia Bell Lossiah, 86, of Kings Mountain, passed away March 20, 2018 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas.

She was born March 13, 1932 in Swain County, the daughter of the late Hobart Watkins and Bonnie Lee Nichols Watkins.

Virginia was a member of Crowder's Mountain Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Roger Smith; daughters Sandra Allen, Regina Wilnoty and Linda Auten; grandchildren Jimmy and Eric Allen, Tracy Rodriguez, Tina and Chrissie Smith, Katricia Huett, Roger Smith Jr., Jacob, Jet and Rebecca Smith, Sarah Johnson and Sam and Kane Crowe; 30 great-grandchildren; 4 great-greatgrandchildren; brother Richard Watkins and sisters Helen Peacock and Linda Frank.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Sampson Lossiah and son Timothy Joe Smith.

A funeral service will be held 2 pm Friday at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends 7 – 9 pm Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Entombment will be in Gaston Memorial Park.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
