Virginia Elizabeth "Genny" Daley

Virginia Elizabeth "Genny" Daley, 71 of Kings Mountain, NC passed away peacefully after a short illness on December 21, 2019. She was in the care of Hospice of Cleveland County where she always received the very much appreciated personal care from the staff.
Genny was born April 30, 1948 in Macon Georgia to the late William "Bill" Meador and Donna Jeane Meador. She lived in several communities Meldrim, Ga, Charleston, SC, Hardeeville, SC where she met her late husband Ernest Keith Daley before moving to Kings Mountain, NC in 1986. She was the Bookkeeping / Accountant for the Anvil Knitwear, Inc for over 20 years before they closed the plant in Kings Mountain.
Genny was a pianist in several of the churches she attended. She was initiated into The International Order of Rainbow for Girls, Dorchester Waylyn Assembly No. 20 Charleston, SC on 2/18/63 and was Worthy Advisor in 1966, receiving the title of Past Worthy Advisor when her term ended.
She is survived by her sons, Brian Keith Daley, Ernest Keith Daley Jr. and his wife Mel;one grandson McDaniel (Mac) Ernest Keith Daley, III. One very special great granddaughter Willow.
A memorial service will be held on a later date to celebrate her life here on earth with us. It is a sad day when you lose a daughter, sister or mother but a great comfort knowing she is with Keith and her father.
