Virginia Lois Gallant

Virginia Lois Gallant, 90, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Northside Hospital Cherokee, Canton, GA.

She was born in Stephens Co, GA, daughter of the late Robert Clyde Franks and Roselene Ramsey Franks.

Virginia was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life, Fred Gallant, who passed in 1987; sister, Edith Flowers; and brothers, Clarence Franks, and Lloyd Franks.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Lynn Dolan; brother, Lewis Franks; sister, Evelyn Flowers; grandchildren, Bennie Champion (Gena), Troy Champion, Shawn Dolan (Jamie), and Mariah Mosher (Ethan); great-grandchildren, Slater Mosher, Sunny Mosher, Reece Champion, Gracie Champion, Jewels Dolan, Colt Dolan, Josh McAlister (Hannah), Austin Champion, Trinity Champion, Felicity Champion, Aaron Champion, and Ethan Champion; great-great-grandchildren, Raelyn, and Rowan; and special loved, Kaysie McClure.

The family will receive friends 6-8pm, Friday, April 19, 2024, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

A graveside service, officiated by Deacon Bill Melton, will be held 11:30 am, Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Gaston Memorial Park – 1200 S. New Hope Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
