Virginia "Ginny" England

Virginia "Ginny" England, 88, of Mt. Holly, passed away February 9, 2017 at Palmetto Village in Chester, SC.

She was born August 4, 1928, a native of Gaston County the daughter of the late William Correll and Sallie Rhinehardt Correll.

Ginny was a member of Second Baptist Church in Cherryville.  She loved her family and her dog, Max.  She also enjoyed collecting salt & pepper shakers.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons Robert and Ronnie England; daughters June Laws and Cathy Jordan; sister Kay Hall; 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Trinity Church of the Living God, 119 Kristie Lane, Kings Mountain.

The family will receive friends 2 – 3 pm prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be in Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Kings Mountain.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
