Viola Hudson Queen

Viola Hudson Queen, 90, of Ranlo, NC passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 at Presbyterian Novant Health, Charlotte, NC.

She was born April 12, 1930, daughter of the late John Hudson and Myrtle Pruitt Hudson.

Viola was a member of Daystar Baptist Church of Mount Holly, NC.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Samuel Queen, and brother, Houston Hudson.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Michael Queen and wife Shirley; daughter, Debbie Coble and husband Bill; grandchildren, Matt Queen (Erica), Mark Queen (Tabitha), Hannah Queen, Bella Coble, Emily Grace Coble, and Gabrielle Coble; great grandchildren, Adam Queen, Ramona Queen, Nola Queen, and Maddie Queen; two grand-dogs and three grand-kitties.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 14, at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 South York Road, Gastonia, NC.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel.

Interment will be held at Gaston Memorial Park.
