Viola Postlethwait

Viola Catherine Henry Postlethwait, 99, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Monday, August 14, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

She was born March 26, 1924, in New York, daughter of the late Arthur Wolfe and Catherine Bree.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Coy lee Postlethwait.

Viola is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Meacham, and Linda Wilson; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Viola loved her family very much. After meeting and marrying her husband, they moved to New Jersey to raise a family. Then after retirement, they moved to Florida. Once her husband's passing, she then moved to North Carolina to be with her daughters.
