Vickie Eaves Wilson, 63, of Shelby, passed away September 24, 2012 at Wendover Hospice House, Shelby She was born February 9, 1949 in Gaston County daughter of the late Sydney Boyd Eaves and Kathleen Hall Eaves. The family will receive friends starting 6:00 p.m.Wednesday at the home, 135 Emerald Valley Dr., Shelby. A memorial service will be at a later date. Mrs. Wilson is survived by: son, Gaither Eugene Hayes; daughters and sons in-law, Charlene and Mark Walters, Tonya and Sam Wilson III, Tiffany and Pete Gunn; 3 stepsons; 3 stepdaughters; sister, Diane Carigan; 25 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 1 great great granchild. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: first husband, Gaither Hayes, second husband, Sam Wilson Sr.; daughter, Kimberly Hayes; sister, Penny Crumbley.
