Vickie Hall Spivey

Vickie Hall Spivey, age 75, of Gastonia, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. Daughter of the late Wesley and Agnes Stover Hall, she was born September 14, 1939 in Gaston County, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W.H. Spivey. Mrs. Spivey is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Jane Spivey of Dallas, Mark and Lore Spivey of Gastonia; sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Monty Harbin; nephew, Jeff Harbin; grandchildren, Eric, Trenton, and Morgan Spivey. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm until 3 pm on Thursday, December 11, at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. A graveside funeral service, officiated by Pastor Eric Ross, will be held at 3:30 pm on Thursday at Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Gastonia. Interment will be at Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Touched By Angels, 108 Tuckaseegee Rd., Mt. Holly, NC 28120.
