Vickie Elaine Pietz

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vickie Elaine Pietz, who left us peacefully on April 18, 2026, at the age of 72, at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas, NC. Born on December 9, 1953, in North Carolina, to the late Ernest and Margie Trantham.

Vickie worked in the filter manufacturing industry, where her hands-on skills in assembly made her a valued team member. She was a member of the Historical Society and Daughters of the Confederacy, and many other clubs. She was an artist at everything she pursued. She was a recent widow of the late Bill Pietz. Vickie's journey in this world has come to an end, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Greg Stokes; grandson, Tyler Stokes; great-granddaughters, Madison and Elizabeth Stokes; sister, Myra Gail Hensley; special cousin, Lisa Burgess; fur baby, Dodger.
