Velma Lou Peeler Brock

Velma Lou Peeler Brock, a native of Gaston Co., passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Peak Resources, Cherryville, NC

She was born December 10, 1933, daughter of the late A.C. Peeler and Lona Tucker Peeler.

Velma is now in Heaven with her parents, and sisters, Jenny Shelp and Clara Peeler; and former husband, Lawrence Brock.

Velma is survived by her sisters, Mary Long, Doris Singleton, Jean Kennedy, and Sarah May; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and guardian, James Peeler.

A funeral service will be held 11am, on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 South York Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052.

Family will receive friends 6-8pm, Friday, May 20, 2022, at the funeral home.

Interment will follow service at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia, NC.
