Valerie B. Jones

Valerie B. Jones, 63, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

She was born September 25, 1957, in Dade Co., Florida, daughter of the late Robert Winfree Barnes and Mary Linda Riley Barnes.

Valerie attended Eastside Church of the Nazarene. She graduated from Southwest Miami Senior High School, Miami, Florida.

She is survived by her husband, Harry Neal Jones, Jr.; son, Jeffrey Jones and fiancée Ashley; daughter, Ashley Perdikaris and husband Clayton; brother, Donald Barnes and wife Sandra; and grandchildren, Elexis Jones, and Cadence and Elijah Perdikaris.

A celebration of life, officiated by Rev. Junior Morris and Rev. Joe Bell will be held 1 pm on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Salem Baptist Church – 1534 Rolling Meadows Lane, Gastonia, NC 28054.
