Tyler Curtis Johnson

Tyler Curtis Johnson, 13, of Lawndale, NC passed away January 24, 2017 at Levine's Children's Hospital in Charlotte.

He was born January 9, 2004 in Moore County, the son of Mike Johnson residing in Lawndale and Tammy Thompson residing in Rockingham.

Left to cherish his memories along with his parents are his brother Garrett Johnson from Gastonia ; paternal grandparents Marcia and Paul Johnson of Thurmont, MD; maternal grandparents Tommy and Yvonne Thompson of Rockingham; aunts Wendy Carson, Debbie Grooms, Valerie Davis, Mary Fennel; uncles Chip Johnson and  John Thompson and several cousins.

A memorial service, officiated by Pastors Scott Whitner and Chris Parker, will be held 3 pm Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Temple Baptist Church, 701 Littlejohn Street, Gastonia.

The family will receive friends 2 – 2:45 pm prior to the service at the church.
